Steel Fit Family

My journey began 14 years ago. When I was this loser of a guy that weighed well over 600 plus pounds.

Yep that’s the guy. Six shirt and all. No i don’t have an actual six hundred pound pic. I hated taking pictures.

I still tear up when I see these pictures because there was no quick fix. I did this to myself. Stress and healing from surgeries and yeah I had excuses for everything.

My buddy John came over one day and he is this massive body builder. Took me out of my chair loaded me into his car and said brother enough is enough. I asked where he was taking me. He said I’m gonna change your life.

That day he did. See I was in A wheelchair from a car accident and John set it up to get me into this show for body building. I sat in the front row. Met so many athletes. They probably don’t even remember me.

That day I look at John and said so how can I get on stage and do what they do. The next day he shows up and says brother day one. I’m thinking day one? We take this whey and these supplements and then became the fun part. Time to eat breakfast. Little did I know at the time that I was gonna go thru both mental and physical changes.

I went to my doc and he approved everything. So he began monitoring me. Every morning was the same old thing. Eat train repeat. 120 days went by and my pants literally fell off of me.

I cried like a baby no lie. John comes over and I gave him a big hug. I may have seen a tear in his eye. He said you believe now don’t ya. I said yes I do John. He never seen someone work so hard in his life.

Unfortunately for me my buddy John passed away. He was in the gym and the weight of the bar killed him. He had a blood clot that ruptured. I thought I was gonna die that day. But as luck has it I had meet some amazing people like Amy who became my coach for awhile. Then there was friend Courtney who made me these amazing meal plans.

My buddy Brandon workman got me thru a lot of tough times. Introduced me to mike of flex Supps and also my friends at Anc Boston and the man who makes one of the best belts in America today. Steve Cardillo.

And sex energy supplements and alpha elite. Every year I would get stronger.

Physically I was changing dramatically. No loose skin. Some stretch marks which cocoa butter took away. But mentally I wasn’t strong enough until…….

I met Nick Scott my mentor that my life fully came full circle for me. He has been a mentor to me for years. He was the man that gave me the opt to prove I belong.

He didn’t sugar coat it. He said it’s here if you want it bad enough. So that was six years ago. First Arnold’s as a pro photographer there. The third year I was presented with my Wcbb jacket as part of the team.

I go all over with these guys. The learning experiences they have taught me are beyond belief and priceless. My biggest highlight was meeting the man himself Arnold Schwarzenegger and having him sign my belt.

Who knew there where bigger things coming. I met Ashley smith about nine years ago. She was still new to the industry and with a company called steel fit. Time wore on and Ashley really started telling us about these products and it peaked my interest.

So I began using these products. She was explain quite a bit to me and when I seen results I was hooked. Ashley and me are og’s for life. She has an amazing body and is a fierce competitor. Steel fit keeps her that way as well as all the time she preps for shows and her meals.

Ashley has taken time out of her life to save mine. Get your mind out the gutter. I respect her as a sister to me. I have to great of a friendship with her to ruin that. If she wants to go out on day with me so be it. She is amazing after all and will have my ❤️ for life. Even if I don’t tell her.

You meet that one friend that will steal your heart when you least expect it. Yep that’s her. Like I said she has my respect. Can’t ever repay a debt when someone saves your life.

There is someone else I have not spoken of yet that has also need a big factor in my life as well. He wrote this amazing book and we constantly talk all the time. His name is frank. He wrote everyday warrior. It an amazing read.

everyday Warrior: The Action Guide for Ordinary People who Desire Extraordinary Results

Frank he’s been here for me for a long time. We have some great laughs and some insightful talks. He is one of my

Best friends as I consider him my brother.

14 years later I went from 62 inch pants to 38 in pants with no surgery or magic potions. Lol.

Ashley and Steelfitusa have stood by my side the whole journey. They didn’t leave me when the time got tough. I’m not even a competitor yet and I’m looking amazing in life. The results don’t lie.

That’s why I’m proud to make this announcement today. Yours truly has become part of the steelfit USA family.

I have been invited in. My loyalty will never change. I have Ashley smith to thank for never giving up on this guy right here. I went from being a lug head to becoming someone that works hard and plays even harder. I love my steel fit family.

Repost from @thebeastwcbb using @RepostRegramApp – Female Physique Competitor @jen.pasky.jaquin will be Guest Posing at the 2019 Arnold Classic during the Pro Wheelchair on Saturday, March 2nd. This is history in the making as she is the first female in a Wheelchair to grace that iconic stage!

Her physique impressed me beyond and when she hits the stage 1 month from now you will see what I mean. Not just anyone is allowed on that stage, a few things had to get approved to make this happen.

We need more women in the sport and I hope Jen will inspire many to get on stage.

Congrats @jen.pasky.jaquin in 4 weeks, the stage will be yours.

Take What You Need

Day 130 – 132 – “It has been said, ‘time heals all wounds.’ I do not agree. The wounds remain. In time, the mind, protecting its sanity, covers them with scar tissue and the pain lessens. But it is never gone.”

“When we honestly ask ourselves which person in our lives mean the most to us, we often find that it is those who, instead of giving advice, solutions, or cures, have chosen rather to share our pain and touch our wounds with a warm and tender hand. The friend who can be silent with us in a moment of despair or confusion, who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate not knowing, not curing, not healing and face with us the reality of our powerlessness, that is a friend who cares.” Today i am grateful for another chance to succeed where others have failed…to rise up and show em what i am made of…have a great day all. ~Paul DeMarco~ #viral #cancer #motivation #olympics #nevergiveup

Day in & Day Out

Day 192 – 194 – Today it is raining and as the soul of the earth is being cleansed by the tears of the angels above as our love ones make there journey…i have read so many stories of survival and stories of loved ones lost as well as my bro dropping dead of a heart attack at age 38…he will be missed, but today i found new hope…and the realization that life is what you make of it… i am grateful for many things…i will never take life for granted and know that there is always a new day tomorrow. ~Paul DeMarco~ #olympics #nevergiveup #cancer #motivation #viral

Through Our Eyes

“Through our eyes, the universe is perceiving itself. Through our ears, the universe is listening to its harmonies. We are the witnesses through which the universe becomes conscious of its glory, of its magnificence.” ~ Alan W. Watts #nevergiveup #olympics #cancer #motivation #viral

Learning To Let Go

Sometimes this is a very necessary step. We learn from mistakes. We learn from challenges. We learn right from wrong. We learn that no matter how bad it is we came always have a positive aspect come out of it. We know life is precious and sometimes when loved ones pass we hold them in our heart but must let go sometimes in order to heal. We know they watch over us. We learn sometimes things aren’t meant to be. We learn friendships sometimes are not permanent because once your use is up your discarded like a piece of trash. We learn that life can be trying at times. The best part. You wake up the next morning to begin a whole new day like it was a reset from the day before. #mondaymotivation #olympics #nevergiveup #cancer #motivation #viral
